Spirit gave me a beautiful lesson in personal power and Owl Medicine today~
Your mind is like a field, with nutrient rich soil and endless potential to grow what is planted. Owl is your projector. Owl watches over your field. She sees all that goes on with her wide-open eyes and ever turning head. Owl does not let a single mouse cross her path. Swiftly, she pounces and consumes the mouse with her clarity and precision. Her sharp talons do not miss. She turns that which would have weakened the crop and run rampant, into her own fuel and life force. She is a transformer.Likewise, when subversive thoughts of unworthiness, shame, and not-enoughness enter into the mind, if they are not intercepted, they can take root and destroy the fertile soil of new creativity and expression. By being the observer and loving watcher of one’s mind, we are able to squelch negative thoughts in their tracks by seeing them with our wide-open eyes, before they multiply. Then we may remain in our personal power, where we create, express, and experience our own unique expression of unconditional love.
Prayer~Wise Mother Owl, swift and clear, Teach me to live in the Power of Love over fear. Watch over the comings and goings of thoughts in my mind, And protect me from that which is not Power of Love aligned.
